AEFUNAI Agribusiness

Description

An Agribusiness and mangement programme with practical commercial farm that serves the purpose of teaching, research and bridging the gap in supply of agricultural commodities (rice, cucumber, cassava, garden egg, maize, plantain, oil palm and bannana). It is a project of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo Ebonyi State, Nigeria faculty of Agriculture. The farm project is sole operated and funded using the Faculty of Agriculture multi-purpose cooperative society Ltd (FAG-FUNAI MPCS LTD)  where staff and the public are welcomed to buy shares.

The participating institutions currently are Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ikwo Ebonyi State, Nigeria, Ebonyi state university Abakaliki, Nigeria, Imo state University Owerri, Nigeria and Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state, Nigeria.
